changelog
psst… here's what changed.
-
Smarter place reminders
- “Remind me at a place” got a calmer redesign: pick a place, set where it is once, and reuse it from anywhere.
- Manage your own places - add, rename, change the icon, or remove Home, Work, Gym, and more.
- Choose how close you need to be (including a custom distance), with a map preview of each spot.
- Tap a place's map to open it in Google Maps or your favourite maps app.
-
Reliability polish and friendlier empty screens
- The What's new notes now show in your language.
- New illustrations on empty screens - trash, chat, activity, and smart lists.
- Emptying the trash now asks first, and failed attachment uploads show an error instead of breaking silently.
- Polish: #tags in quick-add, Enter saves a title edit, and the app recovers gracefully from unexpected errors.
-
Keyboard fix + real integration logos
- The add-item box stays above the keyboard again - on lists, chat, and comments.
- Integration tiles now show each service's real logo.
-
Calendar & Slack, plus widget and chat fixes
- Connect Google Calendar, Slack, or Outlook from Settings → Integrations.
- The Quick-Add widget now opens your list instead of showing an error.
- Tap a section to jump straight to it, and fixed a stray gap after closing the keyboard.
-
Move items around, steadier widgets
- Drag items between sections, or move them from the item screen.
- Fixed crashes when adding or removing a home-screen widget.
- Home-screen widget checkboxes are easier to tap.
-
Update prompt that actually shows up
- Fixed the "update available" prompt not appearing for some people on older versions.
- Psst now checks for updates as soon as you reopen it, no need to close it first.
-
Faster, and smoother sign-in
- Lists and the whole app feel noticeably faster and snappier.
- Fixed your name and email showing as a placeholder after switching accounts.
- Google sign-in is more reliable, and falls back to email if it can't reach Google.
-
Home-screen widgets, reworked
- Pick which list each widget shows, and check items off right from the home screen.
- New: a Quick-Add button widget and a Today widget that spans all your lists.
- Widgets now match your theme and language, including right-to-left.
-
Smoother, and easier to keep up to date
- Lists and item screens stay smooth even on a shaky connection.
- Psst reconnects faster when your network drops and comes back.
- New: a What's new page in Settings, plus a nudge when an update is ready.
